Kern County Justice Facility

Bakersfield, CA

SEC and DEC scopes of work
$16.3MM Total Contract Value

New 215,000 sq. ft. addition to the Kern County Justice Facility consisting of three medium-security housing units of 100 cells each and one maximum security special housing unit of 104 cells. This project is part of the California AB900 funding.

The scope of work included both furnishing and installing the following Detention Systems:

CML Security worked with the Weld County Sheriff’s department in a design-build project for complete replacement of Weld County Jail’s electronic controls systems and expansion of the correctional facility. Between all phases, CML put in 700 steel modules and 950 cameras. Totaling 130,000+ sqft.

This impressive High-Rise Criminal Justice Center in downtown Nashville, TN is an impressive facility with a total construction value of $90M. It features an 810-bed housing unit, 60 medical beds, a Medical Unit, Kitchen and Laundry facilities, and various Davidson County Sheriff’s Office program components including intake & processing facilities, administrative space & visitation.

The scope of work included both furnishing and installing the following Detention Systems:

CML Security provided high-tech renovations and improvements for the 12- story facility’s security electronics systems, including replacement of the existing detention doors with a pneumatic door system. The upgrades also integrated video visitation and overall systems modernization.

New construction of a maximum security addition to a state detention facility, adjacent to an existing facility, containing inmate housing with support spaces. Security electronics were integrated into existing systems for efficient modernization.

This project consisted of the NEW construction of an Adult Behavior and Rehabilitation Center. The facility is a minimum- and medium-security jail with work release and program space aimed to create an emphasis on a normalized environment.

The New Utah State Correctional Facility replaced the current facility located in Salt Lake City, UT. Major components include: housing for all custody levels, admin, warehouse, motor pool, medical & mental health services, etc. Multiple ancillary facilities are constructed on-site.

RJ Donovan Infill Facility

This California Infill facility is for Level II inmates who are housed in 6-person dormitory units. The facility included inmate intake, housing, food service, laundry, and program space.
